Property Governance Activity — Kosovo

The USAID-funded Property Governance Activity (PGA), in partnership with local government, civil society, and the private sector, helped strengthen the property governance system in Kosovo by increasing property rights registration and formalization, reducing corruption, increasing women’s empowerment, and enabling investments in real property.

PGA supported reforms to improve citizen’s access to cadastral data, address constraints to formalize rights in newly constructed buildings and demonstrate the business case for women to participate in the economy, helping to generate demand for inheritance proceedings.
