The Australian Army sought to modernise key command, control, communications, and information systems capabilities to support evolving operational requirements. Complex integration activities, multiple stakeholders, technical assurance requirements, and capability delivery objectives required robust engineering governance and independent systems engineering expertise to support successful outcomes.

Solution

Tetra Tech embedded experienced systems engineers, project leaders, and technical specialists within Army’s Land Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems environment. Working across communications modernisation initiatives, the team delivered systems engineering oversight, integration support, technical assurance, governance, certification activities, and stakeholder engagement to support capability delivery. Our personnel occupied key technical and leadership positions, helping Defence strengthen engineering decision-making, manage technical risk, and improve confidence in capability outcomes across a complex operating environment.
