Tetra Tech’s Diamond Bar, California, Office Partners with Community Organizations to Address Food Insecurity

Tetra Tech Diamond Bar, California, staff donated toys and sports equipment for local underserved teens and children

Employees in our Diamond Bar, California, office exemplify Tetra Tech’s spirit of giving by supporting their local communities through fundraising and volunteering.

Tetra Tech is committed to positively contributing to the communities where we live and work. Our Diamond Bar staff partnered with three local community organizations—Food Forward, Families Forward, and Spark of Love—to support community members at risk of or experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.

Supporting local students

Many families increasingly encounter higher costs for essential school supplies. Tetra Tech employees donated backpacks and other school supplies to Families Forward, who distributed them to low-income elementary, middle, and high school students. The donations help students start school with the same essential supplies as their peers and build their confidence.

Our staff has consistently shown their generous spirit by giving back to our community on an annual basis. We support several worthy organizations, some of which are aligned with our services to address food insecurity and clean up our neighborhoods.

Addressing food insecurity

This past year, our employees contributed to Families Forward’s efforts to serve 875 families during the Thanksgiving season. Our staff collected non-perishable food as part of a Thanksgiving-themed grocery distribution for local families in need. The Diamond Bar staff also raised money for a local nonprofit organization, Food Forward, to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to those in need across 12 California counties and 6 adjacent states, including tribal lands.

Giving back during the holiday season

Employees collected and donated toys to Spark of Love, a toy drive organized by the Los Angeles County Fire Department, ABC7, and Toys for Tots during the holiday season. The annual drive includes the collection and distribution of new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for underserved children and teens in Southern California, including Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura, and Riverside counties.

We are pleased to recognize the commitment of our Diamond Bar staff to give back to the community and the ongoing efforts of our global staff who amplify the impact of our work through community service.
