Tetra Tech provides integrated solutions to increase food security and rural incomes, while promoting sustainable intensification, climate change adaptation, and equitable value chain governance across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. Over the last 10 years, Tetra Tech has implemented more than 30 agriculture and economic growth programs funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), worth more than $415 million.
Tetra Tech’s experience includes management of some of USAID’s largest and most complex agriculture value chain development projects, involving a combination of technical assistance; grants under contract; government coordination; and local capacity building. We employ a market-driven, facilitative approach that builds the capacity of local stakeholders to address value chain constraints and opportunities. We also promote public-private partnerships to leverage investment, foster dialogue, and ensure sustainability.
Our approach integrates gender, youth, and vulnerable populations in all our activities to achieve broad-based and inclusive economic growth. Our team complements this approach with cutting-edge, information and communication technology-enabled services, along with rigorous monitoring, evaluation, and learning for information-based decision making and adaptive management.
