Building on years of strong performance, South East Water (SEW) awarded Tetra Tech a four-year extension to its Leakage Detection and Associated Services Framework.

This extended contract builds on a framework awarded in May 2023, enabling Tetra Tech to continue delivering targeted leakage detection, WaterNet™ driven analytics, and active leakage control across Hampshire, Kent, Sussex, and Basingstoke. It also expands our role embedding field teams within SEW operations to provide leakage detection, pressure and flow logging, customerside leakage work, metering, and mains flushing—all supported by the WaterNet spatial asset management platform.

SEW serves roughly 2.3 million customers through more than 9,000 miles of pipe. Tetra Tech has supported SEW’s ambitious leakage reduction programme by providing highly skilled leakage technicians, logger technicians, and data specialists across multiple regions.

This extension is a strong endorsement of our people, our performance and the collaborative way we work. By working closely with South East Water, we’ve delivered measurable outcomes while maintaining a clear focus on safety, quality, and long-term value.

Tara Llewellyn, Tetra Tech project manager

The renewed agreement reinforces our commitment to protecting vital water resources, improving network resilience, and delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions that benefit communities and the environment. We look forward to continuing our work with SEW over the next four years, building on a strong foundation of trust, innovation, and shared ambition.
