Services for the U.S. Navy
Tetra Tech has provided a wide range of services starting to the U.S. Navy since the late 1960s, beginning with the ARIADNE program, an underwater fiber optic telemetered acoustic detection system.
Tetra Tech has worked with all component commands in the Naval Facility Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic’s area of responsibility, including NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, Washington, Southeast, Midwest, Northwest, Southwest, and most recently Europe Africa Southwest Asia. Tetra Tech has also supported NAVFAC Pacific in performing similar services. In addition, we provide specialty testing and evaluation services to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). Tetra Tech has also supported Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center through several Environmental Security Technology Certification Program demonstrations.
Tetra Tech has performed nearly $2 billion in services for the Navy, including contracts as large as $250 million. Tetra Tech is well-versed in managing large, complex programs with hundreds of active task orders covering a broad geography.
We currently hold Comprehensive Long-term Environmental Action Navy (CLEAN) Contracts with NAVFAC Atlantic and NAVFAC Southeast; Remedial Action Contracts with NAVFAC Southwest and NAVFAC Atlantic; Biological Resources Contracts with NAVFAC Atlantic; Architect-Engineer CERCLA, RCRA, UST Contract in the Southwest; Multiple Award Construction Contracts with NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic and Southeast; an Operations Support Services Contract with NAVAIR Pacific; Seaport-e; and numerous other contract vehicles. Tetra Tech has performed services for the Navy at approximately 70 facilities in the contiguous United States, as well as outside the contiguous United States in locations such as Djibouti, Africa; Naples, Italy; Rota, Spain; and Split, Croatia.
