University of Michigan, Stephen M. Ross School of Business
Tetra Tech’s High Performance Buildings Group provided sustainability consulting for this new 270,000-square-foot academic building at the University of Michigan, Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
The business school includes an auditorium, classrooms, faculty offices, and student services, surrounding a glass-enclosed “winter quad” academic town square. The building uses a high-efficiency central plant for heating and cooling. An underfloor air distribution system conditions the classrooms, and passive heating and cooling concepts condition the winter quad.
