Tetra Tech’s High Performance Building Group provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and audiovisual services for InterActiveCorp’s (IAC) new world headquarters in New York City.

As the first commercial building in New York City designed by renowned architect, Frank Gehry, the 10-story building is designed to express IAC’s innovative and forward-thinking culture. The building features a uniquely shaped façade constructed of cold-warped glass panels specially treated to enhance environmental efficiency and reduce glare. The interior promotes interaction and workplace flexibility amongst the 400 employees, and has work spaces that are exposed to natural light.

Tetra Tech’s engineering design included state-of-the-art mechanical systems that maximize occupant comfort and energy efficiency. The audiovisual design included a 120-foot long interactive media wall.
