Gold Mine Sustaining Capital and Expansion Projects
The Jundee Gold Mine, formerly owned and operated by Newmont Asia Pacific and now owned by Northern Star Resources Ltd., is one of Australia’s most remote operating gold mines. It is about 700 kilometers northeast of Perth and 45 kilometers northeast of Wiluna in Western Australia.
Over a 10-year period, Tetra Tech Proteus has completed a number of sustaining capital studies and projects to improve the efficiency of the plant. This work has enabled Jundee to maintain and increase its production and profitability.
