Fordham University’s School of Law and McKeon Residence Hall

Tetra Tech’s High Performance Buildings group provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), fire protection, information technology, and security services for Fordham University’s LEED Silver law school facility.

The facility is 350,000 square feet and is constructed with an additional 120,000-square-foot dormitory above it. Tetra Tech implemented MEP systems that use energy-efficient elements including high-efficiency fire condensing boilers and hot-water heaters, high-efficiency refrigeration plant, variable speed drives, high-efficiency motors, and variable speed drives for variable volume systems to support LEED requirements.
