Boddington Gold Mine Water Management System
Tetra Tech Proteus was selected to undertake the front end engineering design (FEED) and subsequently the engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) for the water management system at the 35-million tons per annum (Mtpa) Boddington Gold Mine. The mine is about 120 kilometers south of Perth, Western Australia.
The water management system uses seven pump stations and a total of 40 kilometers of pipeline to deliver 3,000 cubic meters of water per hour to the gold-processing plant from a 20-kilometer by 20-kilometer catchment in the area.
Tetra Tech Proteus had the necessary experience and capability to design, engineer, and manage the work on this project. Our team completed the project on budget in a high-demand market.
