This building is conditioned by a direct-gas-fired absorption plant. Each apartment is ventilated with air that has been dehumidified and tempered from a central ventilation system with an enthalpy wheel energy recovery system. In-building blackwater treatment and stormwater storage systems provide nonpotable building water. This building also employs local power generation using photovoltaic panels and a 60-kilowatt microturbine.
