Tetra Tech’s Greg Pope Honored by ConocoPhillips for Excellent Project Management

Location: Midland, Texas, United States
While I was recognized for my project management from our client for achieving site closure on a major project, my Tetra Tech team, which performed critical tasks, was vital to help accomplish this. The ability to summarize all the various data collected from our investigative efforts and others’ work spanning seven years for this site was crucial in the regulatory agency understanding of the site conditions. I compiled a presentation that focused on a comprehensive cross section of the area showing the relationship of the wells in the upper and lower groundwater zones, which made it easier for the agencies to understand the complexity of trapped product in the groundwater formations, assuring them stability of the plume. This breakthrough brought closure to a project that otherwise would have exceeded millions in future project costs. The extensive resources available within Tetra Tech made this all possible.
