Tetra Tech works to conserve and restore our natural resources for a life that can be enjoyed for generations to come. Working as the environmental manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ PortMiami deepening project, Tetra Tech is handling all of the environmental concerns throughout the project.

This project is the first of its size in the United States to integrate environmental management responsibilities into a construction project. In addition to environmental management, Tetra Tech is responsible for the creation of approximately nine and a half acres of artificial reef that will be placed offshore as mitigation for the project. Tetra Tech is also responsible for 17 acres of select fill that will go into a seagrass restoration area that will be planted as a restoration project inside the bay.
