Tetra Tech Aids Victims of the Camp Fire in Northern California
In November 2018, the Camp Fire—the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history—raced through more than 150,000 acres in Northern California and destroyed the community of Paradise.
Tetra Tech Emergency Management teams have been providing disaster recovery support in Paradise since the early stages of the recovery efforts. Tetra Tech teams are working tirelessly to clean up the devastation and volunteering their time to provide support and encouragement for the residents of Paradise.
This support includes providing clothes, meals, and toys for displaced residents. Tetra Tech and CalRecycle also adopted more than 40 local senior citizens during the holidays, providing holiday gifts to residents who otherwise would not have received any. Our Emergency Management teams also collected monetary donations to purchase supplies, which they personally delivered to fire victims.
Tetra Tech Emergency Management teams know that a community is built not just of wood and steel but of individual acts of caring. We are humbled by the strength of the residents of Paradise and proud to support the community as they recover.
