Creating a Smart, Sustainable City in Kenya

Tetra Tech is working with the Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA) to help Kenya create a 5,000-acre technopolis. The Konza Technopolis is the first smart city in Kenya and will be a world-class technology hub and major economic driver for the nation. 

 

Tetra Tech is providing program management, architecture-engineering services, and capacity building to support KoTDA with the implementation of Phase 1. 

 

The Konza Technopolis is expected to grow into a community of more than 200,000 and generate significant revenue for the region. Tetra Tech will provide project oversight to help Konza become a sustainable, smart, and inclusive African technology city.
