Working with Engineers Without Borders (EWB), Tetra Tech is helping bring clean water and improved sanitation to the community of Corail Lamothe, Haiti. Through project funding and employee volunteer involvement, Tetra Tech is supporting the construction of a 33,000-gallon storage tank, installation of a rainwater capture and conveyance system, improvement of an existing 15,000-gallon cistern, and installation of slow sand filters. The project will alleviate the burden on the community where residents walk up to five hours to get water that is often contaminated. It also will provide essential training and education to the community.

Tetra Tech wholly supports EWB-USA and EWB Canada's work to help developing countries through engineering sustainable solutions that improve communities.
