Tetra Tech’s range of capabilities stem from more than 40 years in the oil & gas market, following this cyclical landscape and developing processes and execution methods that are flexible enough to adapt to our client’s needs. Tetra Tech specializes in performing feasibility and routing studies; comprehensive environmental management and permitting; and turnkey EPCM services on crude oil, liquid product, and FERC-regulated natural gas pipelines, compressor and booster stations, and appurtenant facilities.
Our experts have first-hand experience on thousands of linear miles of pipelines and more than $320 million in midstream projects in 2014. Tetra Tech possesses a unique and thorough understanding of both the applicant and NEPA sides of pipeline routing, field surveys, permitting, and industry-standard and resource-specific best management and mitigation practices.
Our oil and gas industry services include support for liquefied natural gas import and export terminals, as well as liquefied petroleum gas export facilities, including site selection; permitting and NEPA review services; and other environmental and engineering support for construction and operations at onshore terminals, offshore terminals in U.S. state waters, and offshore deepwater ports.
Tetra Tech supports all types of storage projects, including salt bed storage, aquifer storage and depleted oil and gas field storage. Tetra Tech supports the development of both the subsurface and above-ground components of storage facilities. In addition to planning, permitting, and inspection services, our engineering teams provide key support with brine treatment system design, brine evaporation pond design, geotechnical engineering, and civil infrastructure design.
