President, Energy Engineering Division

Mr. Weiss has more than 35 years of experience, including 33 years with Tetra Tech, in increasingly responsible positions, including Division President, Operating Unit Leader, program and project management, and quality assurance for some of Tetra Tech’s largest energy, water and environmental programs. Over the course of his career, Mr. Weiss has managed large, multi-disciplinary projects for the federal government, state government, and commercial clients including the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and the South Florida Water Management District.

The scope of his technical experience includes all aspects of hydrologic and geologic field investigations, data collection and analytics, high-end hydrologic, water resources evaluations, permitting and engineering and hydrogeologic design. Mr. Weiss is a registered Professional Engineer (Virginia) and registered Professional Geologist (Virginia and Florida). Mr. Weiss holds a BA in Geological Sciences from the State University of New York, and a MS in Geology and Mineralogy from the Ohio State University.
