On October 3, 2016, Chairman Fred Hochberg of the United States Export-Import Bank (EXIM) visited the Badulla, Haliela, and Ella Integrated Water Supply Project in Sri Lanka.
Tetra Tech was selected to provide design, construction management, project financing facilitation, and oversight for this integrated water supply system. The project includes a new dam, new and upgraded water treatment plants, storage tanks, pumping stations, and transmission and distribution pipelines.
During his visit, Chairman Hochberg toured the water supply system project site in Badulla, including checking in on the new Demodara Dam.
This EXIM-funded project will help provide a steady supply of safe drinking water to approximately 110,000 Sri Lankans.
