Larry Cooley has been a thought leader, author, and lecturer on a wide range of development management issues for more than four decades. A specialist in strategic management, public sector performance, and organizational development, he has served as an advisor to cabinet officials in six federal agencies and in more than a dozen countries. In 2017 he was elected president of the Society for International Development. He is an elected Fellow and board member of the U.S. National Academy of Public Administration, a trustee of World Learning and ELMA Philanthropies, and founder and curator of a global community of practice on scaling development outcomes.
