The mission of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is to develop an integrated layered Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) to defend the United States, its deployed forces, and allies from ballistic missiles from enemy or rogue states.

Tetra Tech is one of the largest contractors at MDA headquarters. Tetra Tech is working with MDA and the Pacific Range Support Team in support of the testing of BMDS systems.

Tetra Tech’s support includes mission planning, documentation, coordinating resources, operational support, and post-test data management. In support of a recent BMDS testing, Tetra Tech personnel deployed to the Kodiak Launch Complex in Alaska and Whidbey Island in Washington.
