Tetra Tech Architects & Engineers is currently working with the Niskayuna Central School District to complete a $94.5 million capital improvement project. The project began with an evaluation of all five elementary schools, two middle schools, and the Niskayuna high schools.

Facilities infrastructure improvement items were categorized by priority in order to assist in developing an overall scope of the project. We worked closely with District administrators, educators, and the Board of Education to develop a comprehensive master plan for the infrastructure improvements and educational enhancements to be incorporated into the upcoming project.

The scope of work includes the construction of additional classroom space to accommodate growing enrollment and expansion of the High School Media Center. The project also involves extensive facilities upgrades including: an aging heating system replacement, window and roof replacements, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements, technology and security upgrades, and a new District-wide phone system.
