1991 Tetra Tech completes its initial public offering. The company primarily provides services in the Resource Management business area.
1992 U.S. Department of Energy awards Tetra Tech nationwide environmental services contract.
1993 U.S. Air Force awards Tetra Tech a nationwide National Environmental Policy Act contract.
1994 U.S. Navy awards Tetra Tech a CLEAN II 10-year, $330 million contract.
1995 Tetra Tech establishes its Infrastructure Services business segment.
1997 Tetra Tech establishes its Communications Services business segment.
1999 Tetra Tech's research and development group creates U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) BASINS model to enable watershed management approach.
2003 Tetra Tech establishes its Systems Support and Security business to apply its skills to the growing homeland security concern.
2007 Tetra Tech expands its alternative energy capabilities.
2008 Tetra Tech builds its international development capabilities, winning major contracts with the U.S. Agency for International Development.
2009 Tetra Tech expands into Canada with its Wardrop Engineering acquisition.
2010 Tetra Tech continues to build its Canadian practice, acquiring several notable Canadian engineering firms.
2011 Tetra Tech expands in Australia with its Proteus EPCM Engineers acquisition, providing a gateway to new markets in Asia and Africa.
2011 Tetra Tech acquires Metalica Consultores of Chile, following its large global mining clients to a new geography.
2012 Tetra Tech further expands in Latin America, acquiring a Brazilian mining engineering practice.
2013 Tetra Tech acquires American Environmental Group to provide full-service waste management capabilities.
2013 Parkland Pipeline joins Tetra Tech, expanding services to the North American energy market.
2014 Engineering News-Record ranks Tetra Tech #1 in Water, Solid Waste, and Environmental Management.
2016 Tetra Tech acquires Coffey International, expanding its international development service offerings and presence in Australia, the Asia-Pacific Region, and Europe.
