Who Should Attend?

Past Activated Sludge Process Control (ASPC) students who need review and want updated examples, as well as water and wastewater operations managers wishing to optimize process and reduce operational expenses.

Course Description

In this three-day course, students will participate in discussions of the complex biological processes in an activated sludge system. ASPC provides updated methodologies and laboratory techniques to generate process control parameters for operating an activated sludge process. Using real-world examples, students can learn how to monitor and control the process for the benefit of the microorganisms, while maintaining efficient municipal or industrial operations.

I heard this was the best wastewater class offered for activated sludge. Everyone was right.

Why Tetra Tech’s ASP Control course? Ronald G. Schuyler, P.E., B.C.E.E., brings nearly 40 years of training experience and on-site plant troubleshooting into the classroom to assist students in optimizing their own process controls. Learn to recognize operations and maintenance problems sooner, enhance control measures, and improve regulatory compliance.

Tetra Tech’s ASPC also includes a copy of the Activated Sludge Process Control Troubleshooting Chart – 2nd Edition with CD-ROM user's guide. This laminated, easy-to-use chart provides tips and potential solutions for implementing process changes involving more than 40 in-plant conditions.
