Tetra Tech is playing a vital role in the development of the Next Generation (NextGen) Air Transportation System. The company provides engineering and technical support to FAA program offices for the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS), the Local Area Augmentation System (LAAS), and other FAA navigation support offices. Tetra Tech also provides enterprise information technology services to the FAA Air Traffic Organization and the Office of Security and Hazardous Materials.
The Large Business of the Year award recognizes Tetra Tech’s outstanding performance and significant contributions to the FAA Small Business Development Program goals and objectives, including its participation in the FAA’s Mentor-Protégé Program. Established in 2008, previous winners of the FAA’s “Best of the Best” awards in the Large Business of the Year category include Northrop Grumman and ITT.
Tetra Tech has been an active participant and advocate of the FAA’s Mentor-Protégé Program since 2005. The company currently has four protégés that partner with Tetra Tech across all of the Company’s major FAA prime contracts. |
