El Mochito

Tetra Tech has provided innovative and cost-effective technical and environmental services for Breakwater Resources’ Mina El Mochito in Honduras for nearly two decades. Tetra Tech has provided full lifecycle services including design, construction, management, decommissioning, and reclamation of three tailings facilities. Tetra Tech also developed a site-wide mine closure plan, provided environmental permitting, geologic hazards assessment, mitigation, and abatement, civil engineering design, geotechnical risk assessments, and environmental and social consultation.
